LSC Church Youth Conference

As I type, I can hear singing and praises being sung by over 70 {and growing} youth and young adults from the Abaana’s Hope community. Can I just say, an accent can make any song beautiful, but especially praises to our King! How incredible it will be the day that every tribe joins together in Heaven and every tongue sings “Great and marvelous are Your works, O Lord God, the Almighty; Righteous and true are Your ways, King of the nations! {Revelation 15:3}”

Great and marvelous are Your works, O Lord God, the Almighty; Righteous and true are Your ways, King of the nations!

These youth and young adults have a full two day program ahead of them. They will sing, dance, play and be taught Biblical truths that they can apply to their lives daily. It is our prayer that this is not just a mountain top experience for these youths and young adults, but by them learning and growing together in God’s word that it will bring about a generational change.

God can radically change this region for His glory. It is our prayer that through these Bible lessons, singing and simply hanging out with one another, that God uses this time to set them apart. For God to draw each one of them closer to Him. For God to use them to be His hands and feet to their community.

I would like to also share, as I sit in the office and type, this ministry has been blessed with several Godly Acholi men and women. While Chase, Kris and myself will aid in the conference by leading three different Bible lesson’s, the majority of the conference is being led by locals. How great it is to see young people have Godly adults, from their community, that they can look up too and learn from!

Please pray for our leaders, teachers, youth and young adults at this two day Living Stones Community Church Youth Conference.
